Doctrina Test Preparation consists of a diverse approach to preparing students for standardized tests. We integrate classroom teaching, cooperative learning and one-on-one tutoring for complete test preparedness.
Our classes are small groups of no more than 10 students.
Our method begins with determining what variables are working for and against you within the test itself and in each subsection. We ease the stress of students who come to us anxious and nervous.
Next, we emphasize organization, and our course provides an optimal study-plan for each student. We logically plan our curriculum both inside and outside the classroom to maximize time and effort.
We focus on specific techniques for each subsection of your particular test. We use exceptional and distinctive methods and ideas to quickly navigate through each test section and help you narrow answer choices when the going gets tough.
During our courses, we have students practice our methods on over a thousand questions. In addition, students are also required to take 3 to 6 "practice" tests to simulate the actual testing experience and to assess their improvement each week.
Last, we have students practice with practice tests approved by the College Board, the Educational Testing Service, or School Admissions Council. Practicing on simulated tests is the best way to improve your score. Our test questions are exclusively designed and appropriated from the actual tests!
We have the inside track. Our materials are provided by Pearson Education, the world's largest publisher of academic and reference textbooks. Consequently, Pearson Education, the nation’s largest commercial processor of K-12 student assessments, is selected by the College Board to provide scoring for the Writing test section of the SAT.
